SAVAGES, a crazy road trip buddy movie was one of the biggest cinema hits in Croatia this year and is screening exclusively in this year’s Adelaide Croatian Film Festival!

The year is 2018 and Croatia has just made it into the FIFA World Cup Final against France.
Three mismatched mates decide they must get to Russia in order to witness live what may become the biggest moment in Croatia’s sporting history. Being financially embarrassed losers, the three friends decide to rob a petrol station in order to make their dreams come true. The robbery goes hilariously wrong and while fleeing police they inadvertently cross into Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Things go from bad to worse when they stumble into a terrorist camp in the woods….

In the vein of the British film “Four Lions” and with more than a touch of “The Three Amigos”, SAVAGES invites us to laugh at ourselves and our collective obsession with football.
