This contemporary story of a crumbling marriage as seen through the eyes of 6 year old Igor is told with equal parts of compassion and humour.

Igor’s parents are separating, and his only friends are his American Aunt Megi and his imaginary playmates - the “dust bunnies” his parents are constantly cleaning due to the boy’s asthma. Aunt Megi is larger than life and a tremendous force for love in the lives of this dysfunctional family but as a member of Croatia’s huge diaspora she finds certain things as difficult to understand as Igor!

With a non-traditional structure and funky soundtrack, Kick and Scream heralds the emergence of a bright new filmmaking talent.
